Problem 6 : Elevator in East Coast Mall

PROBLEM
  • The problems is the elevator in East Coast Mall did not adds voice recognition system and it is difficult for all the customer to enter which floor.
  •  We no need to press the buttons inside the lift but we just need to touch the touch screen display with our finger, according to our choice such as which floor we want to go or want to close or open the door.

SOLUTION

  1. We install and adds voice recognition system and wheelchair detection so that blind users could speak out the floor number they need to go to and the elevator makes an announcement when it reaches its destination.
  2. The system also has a sensor outside the elevator that detects wheelchairs(needs to be within 30cm from the sensor).Once a wheel chair is detected, voice recognition system is automatically activated which also means that the rider would neither have to face the problem of reaching high buttons nor would they have to ask someone else for assistance.
